HOW TO PREVENT FROZEN PIPES
QUICK FIXES:
-Turn up the thermostat.
-Leave a warm trickle of water running from both hot and cold supply lines.
-Wrap supply pipes with heat tape or sleeve insulation.
-If a pipe does freeze, try carefully warming it with a hair dryer until the water is flowing normally.
NEVER USE AN OPEN FLAME!
LONG -TERM SOLUTIONS
-Air seal around doors, windows, holes, and cracks in the exterior of your home.
-Add insulation to put a thick blanket between winter and your pipes.
